The other books in the series are in Kindle Unlimited, and Amazon’s rules state that I can’t have them with other sellers. But there’s a free app you can download which allows you to buy my books on Amazon (or anyone else’s! And read them on other ereaders, or on your iPad or tablet. I have just finished read all 5 books back to back (5.30am this morning). I never did history at school and I am an avid reader of historical fiction. I have never read (or understood) this period of our history. The background and detail you provide took me right back to the places, I even felt I needed a shower after Newgate prison. Keep up the good work and please reassure me the two main character have a happy ending.

I have just finished book five and am absolutely slavering for the next installment! Your characters are so compelling and I have found their motivations extremely well developed. Please tell me book six is coming soon! I finished book five just today and had no idea there was going to be a book six until I realized that book five was not the end!

These books are the best I’ve read for a very long time – just started Book 5 and have already ordered Book 6. Would make a brilliant TV series. Currently have them in my Kindle library but would am going to buy the hard copies so I can enjoy them all over again…. That is the end of the series, but I’ll be writing the back stories of some of the minor characters, starting with Sarah,(and including the story of Alex in his earlier days, and then have a new series in the research stage which will feature Ealsaid and Graeme among others…I hope you’ll keep reading my books!

Hello! It’s in the process of being recorded now. I can’t give a date when it’ll be released, because that’s not in my control, but it will be soon, I promise! Sorry I can’t be more definite, but there are a number of steps to recording and producing the book, and each one takes a little time!
Hi Julia. I am an avid reader of romance fiction but somehow I did not know of you and your writing until just three months ago. It was then while scrolling Facebook that I discovered your Jacobite Chronicles series. I am so very glad I did. From the first book Mask of Duplicity where I met Alex and Beth to the last in the series where Alex and Beth were reunited and showed us they would truly be happy ever after, I was enthralled. So enthralled, with emotions from laughter, joy, shock, sadness, all filling me that I binge read the series, reading each book right after finishing the last one. Then I had to know more about Alex’s past so The Highlander’s Tale followed. I will be reading the two other related stories next and know that I will be equally enthralled.
I have read thousands of books, many of which I love but none other of those books, or characters, (including Diana Gabaldon’s Outlander series) have ever grabbed my emotions to the extent that Alex and Beth and their path to love have, and that is why I felt the need to write to you. To thank you for the beautiful writing. I will tell you that if anyone were to ask me to name my favourite book, I would say the Jacobite Chronicles series.

Hello Enisa. I’m so glad you enjoyed my books, and I hope you enjoy the back stories too! There are three other stories, by the way, Sarah’s, Harriet’s, and Caroline & Philippa’s. You are most welcome, and it’s lovely to know how much you loved them! I’m not planning to write a series featuring the children yet, although I may in the future. I have a novella coming out very soon which fills in a two month gap in Mask of Duplicity, and then will write Sir Anthony’s book in the winter. After that I’ll be starting a new series going back to the start of the whole Jacobite movement, which will feature Beth’s grandmother and slowly move forward in time. Hope you’ll read that too!
